HD troubles

I just bought a surplus computer from a company. they didn't erase anything on the hard drive. Basicly it came fully loaded. Enabled with passwords everywhere.. I opend up the case and pulled the jumpers and accidently pulled the Cmos jumper. restarted the puter and nothing... I used the boot disk that I have for win98 andgot tothe Apromt I tried to format and got this message that I can't format a networked drive?(huh?) I noticed that the drive has been divied in to three seperate drives (before I did all of this). all I want to do is faomat this hd and remove the (partitions) to make a single drive.... what do I do??? I have never done this before and I need some help ...I have no intentions of recorvering the info stored on the drive ans th OS is registered to this company. the HD is a 7.6 gig Samsung.
oh yeah when starting up I get CMOS damaged line whats up with that? and can't find any of the hard drives they dont show up at all... HELP????!??!?!?!
