I have a fairly old hdd that is 8.5 gigs fujustsui. Anyways, originally it had 4 2gig partitions; one with win 98 (c) NT4 (d) e and f were just for data. I think d,e,f were ntfs partitions. So when i tried to upgrade to win2000 it only recognized 2 gigs of the original 8.5 that were there. I tried to go back and forth to install win 98 or win2000 and everything sets up fine, but when I check the amount of space on the hdd it says that I'm still using 6.5 gigs and the rest is free. Now, I have tried fdisk the hdd, I even manually entered the sectors and heads in the bios, but to no avail. Maybe, I'm not using the proper ms-dos commands or something. I don't care what os is on the system I just want to see if I can get my 6.5 gigs back. Any suggestions??
