: I installed a second hard drive for storage only (no Windows) with no problems until I updated my virus definitions. Computer boots in slow motion until second drive is removed then all is well. I have f-disked and reformatted both hard drives, to no avail. On installing second hard drive again, same problem- "virus like activity" is reported by my virus checker on my empty second hard drive.(no bad sectors on either drive) On entering the BIOS, all information seems to be correct- I am out of ideas now!- Any suggestions, please? Thanks!
