: I went out and bought a Maxtor 40 gig drive. About a week later with 10s of illegal operations and blue screens of death, I decided to reformat. EVERYTHING has installed properly except for my hard drive.
: I needed to use the drive so I FDisked and made the FAT32 partition, thus giving me 1 32.xx gig drive. The disk I have doesn't work, I will probably call Maxtor and get a new disk/drive depending. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
: Thank you

Tom - you need to update your motherboard bios to be able to handle the larger drives - there is a 32 gig limitation on some bioses only a few years old.
