Old AT-based HD

Hi there,
I have an old HD that was used on an AT-based motherboard. Can this be used on an ATX-based motherboard? (ata-2 HD "Quantum Sirocco"). If so, do I need to do anything beyond making the drive a slave drive thru the jumper configuration, and then plugging the drive in?
