hi, i have 2 pc's and 1 has onboard adaptec scsi..1 has adaptec adapter. i replaced my 9 gig scsi in the one with the adapter with a new 160 model and it works fine...i put the 9 gig in the one with onboard scsi and even tho it is recognized in scsi bios and is recognized in bootup screen...i keep getting DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK. I tried to fdisk off of a boot disk but got...NO FIXED DISK PRESENT at the end of the bios routine....what am i doing wrong?
the 9 gigger used to be in the pc that i am trying to use it in now...i upgraded my pc awhile back and used an old ide drive in the older pc..i thought i could just put my old drive back in and it would work...but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
