THE BIOS SET UP MUST SEE THE HARD DRIVE BEFORE IT CAN WORK,,IT COULD BE YOUR MOTHER BOARD CPU AR POER SUPPLY,,IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT AUTO DETECT,,
TRY THE HARD DRIVES IN ANOTHER COMPUTER TO SEE IF THEY ARE BAD,,IF YOU ARE USING 98 TAP ON F8 KEY DURING BOOT UP IF IT DOES DETECT THEM,TO GIVE YOU OPTION TO START UP IN SAFE MODE TO KEEP YOUR
PRESENT DRIVERS INSTALLED,,IS THE HARD DRIVES SPINNING,,IT'S NOT LIKELY BOTH WOULLD FAIL
AT SAME TIME,,TRY TO DETECT THEM ON SECONDARY CABLE ONE AT A TIME IN DIFFERENT CABLE,,THIS WAY YOU DON'T HAVETO SWAP JUMPERS AROUND

: Hi,
: My computer will not boot up. When trying to boot up it asks for the
: boot disk in my floppy drive, for some reason my floppy does not work.
: When I look at the set up menu I find that no hard drives are listed at
: all on that computer. The system has two hard drives installed and both
: were working until the computer crashed and I found myself in the present
: situation. Any ideas how to fix this?

: Thanks,

: Paul Adam
