IT SHOULD WIPE OUT THE MASTER BOOT RECORD
[ SPACE BETWEEN FDISK AND /MBR,,,THIS SHOULD DO IT,,THEN RUN FDISK AND FORMAT IT,,YOU NEED A BOOTABLE FLOPPY THAT HAS FDISK.EXE AND FORMAT.COM ON IT AND BOOT WITH THE FLOPPY

: I tried to run FDISK to remove 2 non-DOS partitions and a DOS partition. After removing one non-DOS partition, the volume name of the DOS partition now contains a couple of ascii graphic characters which I can't type into the box that allows deletion of the partition. Will Norton Disk Editor allow me to solve the problem?
