SURE,MABY ?
SINCE THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT,,MANY THINGS APPLY,,
THEY MAKE ADAPTERS FOR MANY OF THE LAPTOPS TO
DO JUST THIS,,BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE MAKE OF THE HARD DRIVE AND IF YOU CAN FIND THE CORRECT ADAPTER,,
I USE LAP LINK TO DO MY TRANSFERS ON LAP TOPS

: In another forum, someone suggested to a user who didn't have a floppy or CD-Rom to take the HDD out of his laptop, set it as a slave and put it into his desktop and copy files that way (he wanted to trasfer a large amount of data)
: This struck me as odd, because I had illusions that they would have diffferent voltage requirements. Am I off base, or can the laptop HD be used in a desktop?

: Thanks for your attention!
