I HAVE SOME OLD DRIVE I CAN REMOVE SOME PINS AND MAIL YOU IF YOU THINK WILL HELP,,IF YOU CANNOT
SOLDER THE PIN I CAN SUPPLY,YOU MAY BE ABLE TO PLARKY PLUG IT INTO THE RIBON CABLE THEN PUT ON THE RIBBON CABLE AND MAKE CONNECTION LONG ENOUGHF TO RECOVER YOUR FILES,,THE PLUG WOULD BE VERY HARD
TO REMOVE AS IT'S A MULTILAYER BOARD,,ANOTHER OPTION IS TO PUT A BOARD OFF A BAD HD ON THIS ONE..
IT HAS TO BE IDENTICAL DRIVE..AND SOMETIMES
THIS DONT WORK,,USUALLY DOES FOR ME.

: My picture didn't format correctly but basically the drive has a little cut away portion on the top with some circuitry and the pin connector lines up with that (with the top row of pins actually rising above it), this is where the pin went through. Sorry.
