: I'm about to add a second HD, an IBM Deskstar DTLA 307045 to act as master. The existing drive, a Seagate ST310232A, will become the slave. What problems, if any, are there in the above set-up, and can I mix IDE with ATA100? Or maybe I'd be better off with just the IBM, and no slave?
