I am trying to replace a 2GB Ultra DMA hard drive by a 20.5GB
Ultra ATA/100 drive but my computer (e-tower 300k) does not
register that the 20.5GB drive is present. I tried both master
and slave configuration (with the old drive as master in the
second case). Do I need to do/check anything specific about
the BIOS settings? Do I need a special cable for the ATA
drive (different than the DMA drive)?
