SUGGEST TO GO TO MY COMPUTER,CONTROL PANNEL,,
SYSTEM,,DEVICE MANAGER,,YOU WILL SEE THE ERROWS HERE,,TRY DELETING THE LINES WHERE THE ERRORS ARE,,AND RESTART WINDOWS,,
ALSO GO TO BIOS SET UP AND SEE IF IT IS SET UP THERE,,IF THE DRIVE IS NOT SET TO DETECT CORRECTLY
IN THE RITE PLACE THIS WILL CAUSE ERROR,,LEAVE THE USB OFF TILL PROBLEM SOLVED

: i have a packard bell legacy computer.AWARD BIOS-- i have a 6.4 gig segate model st36531a and a new 8.4 gig seagate st38410a. i want to use BOTH in the slave master config..but when i do i get dos compatability mode. see i took it to have it installed...YEAH!!!! (they installed it alright)--NOT! i have a zip usb drive...and archos usb mp3 player that doubles as hard drive also. when i got the computer home it would show the splash screen then some bios info..then the splash screen then it would hang....rebooting in safe mode...resulted in dos compat mode...and my drives all with different letters. all i want is a slave master config here---is that too hard to ask? my jumpers were set right...and i have auto detect set in win 98 CMOS too.....im so desperate im willing to pay -----big...H E L P !
