THE LAP TOP DRIVE COULD BE PUT IN USING ADAPTERS,,
BUT USING LAPLINK TO HOOK THE COMPUTERS
TOGETHER WOULD BE EASY,YOU USE A LIP LINK CABLE THAT PLUGS INTO BOTH COMPUTER PRINTER PORTS AND INSTALL THE LAP LINK PROGRAM,,,,I SUGGEST YOU ANLY COPY THE DATA SUCH AS WORD DOCS ,EXCEL FILES
AND PICTURES,,IF YOU COPIED WHOLE HARD DRIVE
YOU WOULD HAVE HARD TIME MAKING IT WORK,,THE
OPERATING SYSTEM IS SET FOR DIFFERENT COMPUTERS,,
VIDEO CARDS,PRINTERS,SOUND ,,DIFFERENT MOTHER BOARDS ETC

: This may be a silly question, but a friend wants to put all the programs on his laptop hard drive onto his new PC hard drive. My first thought was to slave the laptop drive to the PC master, do a disk copy, and let the laptop operating system set up the new PC. My question is this:
: Does a laptop hard drive have the same connections as a PC hard drive and would the data be compatible? I've never taken a laptop apart, but I've seen (from a distance) a laptop hard drive. They are quite a bit smaller. I'd appreciate some advice before I attempt to make the data transfer. Thanks.
