Norton make a progran called GHOST which does and excellent job. Easy and about 45 min/10 mb. Makes a perfect copy or duplicate - even programs that are not copyable.
: : I'm upgrading from an Intel-based system to AMD (based on the AbitKT7 RAID motherboard), which involves replacing my old hard drive with two new hard drives acting as one virtual hard drive (in RAID 0 config.)
: : 1. Is there a safe way for me to move all my 16GB of software & data from my old hard drive to the new one? (Alternatively:)
: : 2. Is there any way for me to have temporary access to the old hard drive for a while within the new system, without making it part of the new system's final configuration?
: : Any suggestions, hints & tips concerning this will be very much appreciated.
: You can use a program called "Drivecopy" from "Quest" to move all your files from one harddisk to another.
