I have two Maxtor 30 gig drives and at times windows says the D drive is a removeable drive.
When I try to remove the check for removeable) under properties, device manager, it says to restarts.
After restarting, the C drive in device manager has an x in it and the D drive is missing. The primary
disk controller FIFO has an exclamation point. It says I have the best driver, when I follow the error message
and try to install a new driver.
I have removed the DV500 capture card...no help and reinstalled Win98SE twice.
Any suggestions?
