I don't have any specific information on Micropolis Drives, but anyone who is upgrading a Performa or PowerPC 61XX can benefit from the Power Mac 6100 Upgrade Guide at http://www.kan.org/6100.

I do know you will need a SCSI drive which is no more than about 1" high (also called 1/3 ht or low profile) and the connection will need to be 50 pin, narrow (any SCSI with the word 'wide' will not work without an adaptor.
