A freeze took place while formatting with Lido 7.56, after which the
formatter could no longer "see" the drive. Disk Doctor says "Unknown OS C" Can anything be done to restore the underlying Apple software that allows only Apple drives to be formatted by Apple formatters? I feel that if you can wipe something out electronicly, you should be able to retore it likewise. Apple apparently does not agree.
Should I throw the drive away?
