: Just plug them in, BUT, you have to get the right kind first, I think its based on clock speed?? If you can you could take the old chip out and take it to the store you are buying your new chip then the salesperson there can get the right kind.
: Then you put the new chip where the old chip was OR if there are empty slots, put it in a new slot and the old back where it came from. Win 98 will detect it and I am sure win 95 will also. I had no problems when I did this!
